Robust Growth

The Bais HaMedrash and Mesivta of Baltimore began in 1997, with sixteen ninth grade students in rented space from a local shul.  Following the Rosh Yeshiva's zt"l vision, our beautiful and spacious campus in Baltimore County was acquired in 2001. As of 2022, the Yeshiva boasts nearly 190 students from Baltimore and beyond.

A Center of Torah Study

Our student body originates from cities across the United States and around the globe. The Bais HaMedrash and Mesivta of Baltimore is recognized in the community for its rigorous limudei kodesh (Judaic studies) program, anchored in the intensive study of Judaism’s vast corpus of sacred and classical literature, beginning with Torah and the Talmud. Our Mesivta high school offers its students a full complement of Jewish and general studies curricula that meet and exceed Maryland’s guidelines for secondary education.  Our Bais Medrash college program offers a nationally accredited bachelor's degree in Talmudic Studies.

A Cherished Legacy

Our devoted faculty in Jewish and general studies bring advanced academic credentials; years of practical classroom experience, and dedication to close teacher-student working relationships. On the Bais Medrash college level, students pursue advanced study and independent research into classic Jewish texts. Our graduates will be inspired and qualified to take leadership roles in the Jewish community as Rabbis, educators, or lay professionals, all committed to communal service.
